At A2Zbookstore.com, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We ensure every book is carefully packed and shipped, but in rare cases, damages or issues may occur. Please read our Return, Replacement, and Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Eligibility for Return/Replacement/Refund
- Our policy applies only if the books are damaged, missing, or incorrect.
- The policy is valid for 3 days from the date of delivery.
- After 3 days, unfortunately, we cannot offer any refund, return, or replacement.
2. Mandatory Unpacking Video
- Customers must record a clear unboxing video of the parcel from start to finish.
- The video is mandatory to process any return, replacement, or refund.
- Requests without an unpacking video will not be eligible.
3. Damages Covered Under Policy
The following issues are covered:
- Severe spine damage causing pages to come apart.
- In-transit damages making the book unusable (minor corner bends, small dents, or light cover scratches are not covered).
- More than 2 misprinted pages.
- More than 2 torn pages.
- More than 2 missing pages.
- Printing smudges making pages unreadable (must affect at least 2 or more pages).
4. Special Cases & Exclusions
- Book Sets (e.g., Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, etc.): Outer box/packaging may get damaged in transit; such damage is not covered. Only book damages qualify.
- Mystery Box Purchases: Strictly no returns, replacements, or refunds.
- Refund/Replacement will also apply in cases of:

Wrong book delivered.

5. Process & Timeline
- Replacement/Refund process takes 7–14 working days.
- Refunds for online payments will be made via the same payment method used.
- Refunds for Cash on Delivery (COD) orders will be made via UPI/Bank Transfer in the name of the customer.
- In case of COD refunds, we may request UPI/Bank details via SMS, email, or phone call.
- Our courier partner will arrange for pickup of the returned book at no extra cost to you.
6. Shipping & Non-Delivery Cases
- If a package is returned to us by the courier company due to their error, you will receive a full refund.
- If you refuse to accept delivery, return shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.
- If incorrect details (wrong phone number, pin code, etc.) are provided and the parcel returns to us, return shipping charges will be deducted from the refund.
7. Order Cancellation

Customer-Initiated Cancellation:
- If cancellation is requested before shipment, a full refund will be issued.
- Once the order is dispatched/shipped, cancellation cannot be accepted. A replacement/return can be requested after delivery (if eligible).

A2Zbookstore-Initiated Cancellation:
In rare cases, we may cancel an order and issue a full refund due to:- Stock unavailability or edition issues.
- Item received in damaged condition before dispatch.
- Delivery restrictions at customer’s location (e.g., lockdowns, strikes).
8. Wrongly Marked Deliveries
Sometimes courier services may mark shipments as “Delivered” even though the customer has not received the parcel.
- In such cases, please report to us on the same day (or within 3 days maximum).
- We will raise a POD (Proof of Delivery) dispute with the courier.
- After 3 days, we cannot raise disputes, so timely reporting is essential.
9. Refund Delays
If you have not received your refund:
- Recheck your bank account statement.
- Check for a confirmation email from our payment gateway (e.g., Razorpay).

10. Important Note
A2Zbookstore.com reserves the right to determine the method of compensation in genuine cases. Refunds will be processed promptly after verification.
